Physical Fitness Requirement: Participants must be in good physical health, be capable swimmers, and comfortable treading in open water. It is advisable to consult a medical professional before embarking on the tour.
Health Disclosure: Participants are required to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that could affect their participation in the tour.
Medical Clearance: Participants may need to provide a medical clearance certificate from a qualified healthcare professional confirming their fitness for the tour.
Safety Briefing: All participants must attend a comprehensive safety briefing before the tour, covering emergency procedures, whale interaction guidelines, and any potential risks involved.
Equipment: Snorkelling gear and wetsuits are essential and are not provided. Guests are required to bring adequate snorkelling gear with them.
Professional Guidance: Participants must follow the instructions of the tour guide and crew at all times for their safety and the well-being of the marine life.
Inclement Weather Policy: The tour operator reserves the right to modify or cancel the tour in case of adverse weather conditions, ensuring the safety of participants.
Emergency Procedures: Our skipper will outline emergency procedures, including evacuation plans, first aid measures, and communication protocols in case of unforeseen circumstances when out on the water.
Insurance Requirement: Participants are required to have their own comprehensive travel insurance covering all health/medical events, emergency evacuation, and covid19 cancellations.
Environmental Respect: We place a huge emphasise on the importance of respecting marine life and the environment. There are strict guidelines against touching, chasing, or disturbing the whales. We reserve the right to remove any person from the tour who may intentionally ignore these guidelines.
Guarantees: As this is a wildlife tour we can not offer any guarantees that you will swim with whales. In the very rare case that you do not swim with whales there will be no refunds offered.
Cancellation Policy: An $1000AUD non refundable deposit is required to reserve your place. By paying the deposit you agree to the above terms and conditions. Remainder of the cost is due no later than April 1st 2025. If you need to cancel before June 1st and we are able to fill the spot then we can offer a full refund (excluding the deposit). If we are not able to fill your spot you will be entitled to a 50% refund. If you cancel after June 1st you are not entitled to a refund.
